Confessions of Faith

By Pastor Bill Snider

Confessions are declarative statements that we need to make in order to release our faith, and bring into manifestation those promises that we are believing God for. Below are a list of confessions that I believe will help you to release your faith and bring your tongue under control.

Healing

I bless the Lord with all that is in me, and I do not forget any of His benefits: He forgives all my iniquities, He heals all my diseases, He redeems my life from destruction, He crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, He satisfies my mouth with good things and my youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psa. 103:1-5)

He sent His word and healed me, and delivered me from my destructions. (Psa. 107:20)

Jesus bore my sins in His own body on the tree, and by His stripes I am healed. (1 Pet. 2:24)

Like Moses, my eyesight will not grow weak, nor will my natural vigor diminish. All this because the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, and gives life to my mortal body. (Deut. 34:7; Rom. 8:11)

I give my full attention to the Word of God. For the Word is life to me, because I found it, and it is health and healing to all my flesh. (Prov. 4:20-22)

My healing springs forth speedily, because God restores health to me and heals all my wounds. (Isa 58:8; Jer 30:17)

The prayer of faith saves and delivers me from sickness and disease, and the Lord raises me up. Therefore when I pray and ask for healing, and I believe that I received it, I will have it. (James 5:15; Mark 11:24)

My God is the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy with me because I love Him and keep His word. Therefore, He loves, blesses, and multiplies me. He delivers me from all the terrible sicknesses and diseases that I have known. (Deu 7:9, 13, 15)

Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon this body. Every disease germ and every virus that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus. Every organ and every tissue of this body functions perfectly as God created it to function, and I forbid any malfunction in this body in Jesus' name. (Gal. 3:13; Rom. 8:11; Gen. 1:31; Matt. 6:19 - Charles Capps booklet, "The Tongue A Creative Force")

Faith, Victory And Deliverance

I imitate God, and I call those things that do not exist as though they did. Though contrary to hope, in hope I believe, and I receive the promise. I am not weak in faith, and I do not consider my body, nor the circumstances. I do not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but I strengthen my faith by giving glory to God, and by being fully convinced that what He promises He is able also to perform. Therefore, my faith is counted as my right to the promise. (Eph. 5:1; Rom. 4:17-22)

I hold fast the confession of my hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Heb. 10:23)

I am born of God and I overcome the world. Faith is my weapon of victory that I overcome with. (1 Jn. 5:4)

I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me, and I conquer tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword. (Rom. 8:35-37)

I've been given authority, and I trample on serpents (sin) and scorpions (death), and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing, by any means, hurts me. (Luke 10:19)

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue which rises against me in judgment shall be condemned. This is my heritage, and my righteousness is from God. (Isa. 54:17)

I am not afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes. The Lord is my confidence, because He keeps my foot from being caught. (Prov. 3:25,26)

I do not faint in the day of adversity, because my strength is not small. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Prov. 24:10; Eph. 6:10)

I am of God, and I've overcome him (the devil). For greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I am submitted to God and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the name of Jesus. (1 John 4:4,James 4:7)

I'm delivered from the power of darkness, and I'm translated into the kingdom of Jesus. (Col. 1:13)

I let the peace of God rule in my heart and I refuse to worry about anything. (Col. 3:15)

I let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth, but that which is good for edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearer. I do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom I'm sealed to the day of redemption. (Eph. 4:29,30)

I am filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. And, I am strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power. (Col. 1:9-11)

Prosperity

Satan, Your power over my blessings has been destroyed. In Jesus' Name, I'm blessed with every spiritual, soulish and physical blessing that belongs to me. I am blessed with love, joy, peace, prosperity, success, favor, healing, health, wholeness, deliverance, freedom, protection, wisdom, understanding, strength, grace and power; and I command them to come to me! In Jesus' Name, I am delivered from strife, fear, anxiety, worry, poverty, lack, sickness, disease, weakness, bondage, oppression, calamity, destruction, depression and failure; and I command them to be pulled up by the roots, out of my life, and planted in the sea!

I am strong and very courageous, and I prosper wherever I go. I spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasure. And I eat the good of the land. (Job 36:11; Isa. 1:19, Josh. 1:7)

I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water. I bring forth my fruit on time. My leaf does not wither, and whatever I do prospers. (Psa.1:3)

I refuse to worry about what I will eat, or what I will drink, or what I will wear. But I seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things are added to me. (Matt. 6:31-33)

God makes all grace abound toward me. I always have all sufficiency in all things, and I always have an abundance for every good work. God supplies me seed for sowing, and bread for food. He supplies and multiplies the seed I've sown, and increases the fruits of my righteousness. And I am enriched in everything for all liberality. (2 Cor. 9:8,10,11)

I give and it's given to me; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over men give into my bosom. (Luke 6:38)

My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. And, I owe no man anything but to love him. (Phil. 4:19; Rom. 13:8)

God teaches me to profit, and He leads me by the way that I should go. My peace and prosperity are like a river, and my righteousness like the waves of the sea. (Isa. 48:17,18)

The blessing of the Lord makes me rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. I continually magnify the Lord, because He has pleasure in my prosperity. (Prov. 10:22; Psa. 35:27)

The Lord causes my enemies who rise up against me to be defeated before my face. The Lord commands the blessing in my storehouse and in all to which I set my hand. He blesses me in the land which He's given me. The Lord grants me plenty of goods, and the Lord opens to me His good treasure to bless all the work of my hands. I shall lend to many, but I shall not borrow. The Lord makes me the head and not the tail. I am above only, and not beneath. (Deut. 28:7-13)

The windows of heaven open for me and pour out for me such blessing that there's not room enough to receive it. The devourer is rebuked for my sake and he cannot destroy the fruit of my ground. My vines produce for me in the field. All the nations call me blessed, because I'm a valuable land. (Mal. 3:10-12)

Psalms 91

Because I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, I will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

Surely He will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He will cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I will take refuge; His truth will be my shield and buckler.

I will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it will not come near me. Only with my eyes will I look, and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, my dwelling place, no evil will befall me, nor will any plague come near my dwelling; for He will give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. In their hands they will bear me up, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent I will trample underfoot.

Because I have set my love upon God, therefore He will deliver me; He will set me on high, because I have known His name. I will call upon the Lord, and He will answer me; He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me and honor me. With long life He will satisfy me, and show me His salvation.
